Associate Attorney – Litigation (South Miami, FL)
My client, a well‑respected trial firm based in South Miami, is known for its supportive culture and commitment to outstanding client service. As they continue to grow, they’re excited to welcome an Associate Attorney who will play a key role in every stage of litigation—from research and drafting to hearings, depositions, discovery, and trial preparation. Base Pay Range:
$125,000–$150,000 per year (actual pay based on skills and experience)
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and memoranda.
Manage discovery, including drafting requests/responses and reviewing documents.
Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and other court proceedings.
Assist with trial strategy and all aspects of trial preparation.
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Support case management to ensure matters move efficiently.
Work closely with partners and senior attorneys on complex litigation files.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Active Bar membership in [State] or eligibility to waive in.
1–5 years of litigation or clerkship experience preferred.
Strong research, writing, and analytical abilities.
Courtroom experience or moot court/trial team background is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently.
A proactive, professional approach and a genuine commitment to client service.
