ASSESSMENT/INTAKE COUNSELOR

Responsibilities
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Intake Counselor with recent behavioral health experience who will ensure that all intake calls are answered promptly and courteously. Provides Crisis Intervention, Telephonic Triage, and Clinical Assessments. Provides callers and families with Community Resources and Information; Obtains Admission Precertification. Develops and maintains strong working relationships with Internal and External Customers, including other Departments, Physicians, and the Emergency Departments. Works as a Team Player to ensure Customer Service to patients, families, and other Associates. Responsible for on-site and/or off-site assessments.
Qualifications
Master's in psychology or social work or related field. Licensed or License eligible.
Five (5) years post graduate experience in a psychiatric setting preferred.
Must have a minimum of five (5) years related experience in a psychiatric setting.
