Paralegal – Real Estate Development and Construction
Base Pay Range
$38.00/hr - $72.00/hr
Position Summary Beacon Hill’s client, a privately held real estate development company, is seeking a Paralegal with strong experience in real estate development, construction contracts, and project documentation. This role supports a fast paced legal and project team overseeing mixed-use, multifamily, and commercial development projects throughout the Phoenix and Scottsdale areas. The paralegal will work closely with development, construction, and design teams and play a key role in supporting high impact projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and manage architectural, consultant, and subcontractor agreements
Handle change orders, lien documentation, and related correspondence
Maintain and oversee contract and document control systems
Support litigation preparation, discovery coordination, and case documentation
Conduct legal research on construction law, zoning, permitting, and development regulations
Maintain organized contract files, project files, and legal documentation
Collaborate with attorneys, project managers, and outside counsel to manage deadlines and streamline workflows
Qualifications
3+ years of paralegal experience in real estate development, construction, or architectural contracting (law firm or in-house)
Strong familiarity with construction contracts, development documentation, and project based legal processes
Exceptional organizational and communication skills with strong attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
Experience with SharePoint, AutoCAD, or Procore is a plus
Location Scottsdale, AZ (Onsite)
Schedule Full time, standard business hours
