QuickPro Staffing in Xenia is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to support a warehouse / manufacturing facility in Dayton, Ohio. This position is responsible for receiving incoming materials, preparing work orders for production, and coordinating outbound shipments. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Verify and record incoming shipments by comparing bills of lading, invoices, and related documentation
Inspect and unpack shipments; identify damages or shortages and coordinate resolution as needed
Sort, label, and store materials in designated locations
Operate forklifts, hand trucks, and other material-handling equipment safely
Pull work orders for manufacturing and distribute materials to appropriate departments
Generate picking sheets; accurately pull, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
Prepare bills of lading and process shipments using computer software
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
Assist with physical inventory counts and additional warehouse duties as needed
Communicate effectively with team members, other departments, and outside vendors
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
1–3 months of shipping / receiving or warehouse experience preferred
Basic computer skills (experience with MAS 90 or inventory / shipping software a plus)
Valid forklift certification required
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Basic math and reasoning skills
Dependable, punctual, and a team player
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly (occasionally up to 100 lbs)
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
Comfortable working in varying environmental conditions, including occasional outdoor exposure
Vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral vision, and depth perception
