Responsibilities As an Underground Foreman you will support all phases of utility construction for various types of telecom projects and will:
Use your construction knowledge to build, repair, and maintain projects
Work in outdoor utility construction sites
Troubleshoot problems as they arise in the field
Train your crew on various kinds of tools and equipment
Operate backhoes, dozer, cable plow, air compressors, trenchers, hydraulic reel trailers, and other types of machinery
Manage all aspects of job‑site construction
Compensation $30‑36/hr DOE
Qualifications
Safety is part of your day to day
You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality
You enjoy a hands‑on approach and can figure out hard problems
You are looking for long‑term projects and enjoy getting your hands dirty with your team
You embrace the challenge of coaching and mentoring your team
You know the telecom construction industry and can perform tasks such as splicing, fiber splicing, directional drilling, aerial and underground construction
MOS Codes 12H, 3E251, 3E271, 4305 relate well to this position
