We are looking for a responsible, reliable Program Director to help our organization enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. Under the direction of the Unit Director, the Program Director plans, organizes, supervises and coordinates programs and activities that enhance the personal growth and development of Club members. Works to maintain a safe, fun and quality environment. JOB FUNCTIONS Is personally involved in the daily planning and implementation of the Boys & Girls Clubs five key areas:
Supportive relationships with caring adults
Opportunities to learn & grow
Establishes a program setting that ensures the health and safety of members.
Contributes to the creation of the overall Club climate for youth development.
Plans programs and activities consistent with the organization's youth development mission.
Provides behavioral guidance to Club members.
Manages necessary administrative functions and assigned resources, including program budgets.
Promotes and markets programs to Club members to increase membership and daily attendance.
Responsible for membership and attendance reporting.
Manages Formula for Impact process to ensure priority outcomes: Academic Success, Good Character & Citizenship, and Healthy Lifestyle.
Responsible for Boys & Girls Clubs of Snohomish County and Boys & Girls Clubs of America documentation: My Club Hub, Americans with Disabilities Act, National Youth Outcomes Initiative, and grant tracking.
Assists Unit Director in meeting State of Washington child care licensing requirements.
Acts as Unit Director’s delegate as required.
QUALIFICATIONS College degree preferred or equivalent experience necessary to perform the functions of the job.
Experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar non-profit organization preferred.
Experience in a licensed child care environment is preferred.
Must be at least 23 years of age (due to insurance requirements) with a clean driving record.
External applicants must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check to be considered for employment.
