Sr Inventory Control Analyst

Opportunity The Inventory Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of inventory records through cycle counting, auditing, and reconciliation processes. This role supports operational efficiency by identifying discrepancies, minimizing inventory errors, and maintaining compliance with company standards.
Responsibilities
Proactively analyze inventory control process in the organization to understand opportunities for improvement to achieve service levels while operating with inventory accuracy reliability.
Partner with other supply chain teams to implement inventory control process and initiatives and drive resolution to completion.
Develop tools & reports to provide early alerts on inventory potential inventory risks, both shortages and financial impacts.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies using Warehouse Management System (WMS) reports.
Prepare assigned summaries of inventory control results and KPIs, including effective root cause analysis resulting in actions.
Own assigned dashboards and analytics tools to ensure inventory accuracy, value and effective use.
Skills/Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required: Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Finance or Engineering.
At least 2 years of experience in supply chain management, including relevant inventory control responsibilities, required. Problem solving methods (root cause analysis, identification of corrective actions, and management of resolution) required.
Experience with advanced inventory control methods and tools preferred; and capability to use and deploy is required.
APICS/IBF or other related certification is preferred.
Knowledge of cycle counting methodologies and inventory auditing.
