With over 5,100 megawatts of nonregulated renewable energy capacity, we are shaping the future of clean energy in the U.S.We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented **Procurement Specialist** to support **vendor relationships** for our growing renewable operations. This role is ideal for a career professional who is eager to develop a strong foundation in the **procurement field** related to **supplier management** while contributing to clean energy initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate documentation, vendor compliance, and reliable service delivery across solar, wind, and other renewable energy projects.**Main Responsibilities*** Assist in the onboarding and documentation of vendors supporting renewable energy projects* Maintain accurate records of vendor contracts, certifications, insurance documents, and compliance materials* Track vendor performance data, service milestones, and deliverables with close attention to detail* Coordinate with internal teams (procurement, project management, finance) to support vendor-related needs* Help identify discrepancies, missing documentation, or process gaps and escalate as appropriate* Prepare basic reports related to vendor performance, compliance status, and contract timelines* Support contract renewals and vendor communications under management guidance**Basic Qualifications*** High school diploma or GED required* One (1) year or more experience in vendor coordination, supplier management, materials management, procurement, logistics, or a related field**Desired Qualifications*** Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or a related field* Experience using ERP or CMMS systems* Familiarity with procurement processes, vendor management workflows, and contract or compliance concepts* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic reporting tools* Strong communication, relationship-building, and teamwork skills**Working Conditions*** This role is based in Charlotte, NC.* Employees must live within a reasonable daily commute to the designated office location**Benefits*** Health Insurance* Dental Insurance* Vision Insurance* 401(k) with company matching* Employee Assistance Program* Flexible Spending Account* Life Insurance* Paid Time Off* Parental Leave**Additional Information:**Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.Deriva welcomes veterans of the United States Armed Forces to apply for this position.
