Schedule Day Shift, Overtime, Monday to Friday
Pay $28-$34 hourly
What You’ll Do We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Remote Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the go-to expert for customers in the Quincy area. You’ll work independently with a fully equipped service truck stocked with tooling provided by us, ensuring our customers receive top-tier service. This hands‑on, mobile role involves:
Diagnosing and repairing hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems including computerized induction/ignition systems on heavy equipment
Performing inspections and preventive maintenance
Operation of vehicles and equipment for diagnostic purposes.
Maintaining accurate service records and reports
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members and customers
Conduct DOT inspections on trucks and trailers
What You Bring
Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Proficiency with diagnostic tools and welding (acetylene and arc)
Ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and solve complex issues on‑site utilizing strong judgment and decision‑making skills.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, including manufacturer’s service specifications
Ability to follow safety guidelines and requirements
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and manage your schedule efficiently
Ability to use a computer efficiently for diagnostics, parts lookup, schematics, and work order maintenance
Qualifications
2+ years of experience repairing heavy‑duty vehicles or equipment, or any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates your ability to perform the duties of the position
Possess and maintain a Class “A” Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
Background in agricultural equipment is a plus
Must pass a background check, drug screen, and MVR check
