Metric Geo is partnering with a leading heavy civil contractor on the search for a Project Manager with experience in Structures/Bridge Construction. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex bridge and infrastructure projects, managing teams, budgets, and schedules from preconstruction through completion.
Responsibilities
Lead project planning, coordination, and execution for heavy civil and bridge construction projects.
Manage budgets, financial forecasts, cost tracking, and progress billings.
Communicate with owners, vendors, and subcontractors on submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project updates.
Track production quantities and review labor costs with the project team.
Develop and maintain project schedules and coordinate work with internal teams.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
Qualifications
5+ years of project management experience in heavy highway or bridge construction.
5+ years of experience with civil structures (bridges, pile driving, drilled foundations), mass grading, storm drainage utilities, and concrete construction.
Experience with ARDOT projects.
Ability to read civil construction plans and interpret technical documents.
Strong financial acumen, including budgets, forecasting, estimating, and contracts.
Willingness to travel.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
