The Maintenance Manager - Packaging
leads and coordinates the activities our skilled maintenance mechanics and machine repair technicians. This role ensures that our packaging equipment and packaging machinery, along with other aspects of our physical plant, are in good repair and functioning efficiently and safely.

is located on-site at HARIBO of America’s brand new, state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Pleasant Prairie, WI (in southeastern Wisconsin, near the Kenosha area). The
Maintenance Manager - Packaging
acts as a key contact with factory managers and associates as the liaison to maintenance requests, problem solving, preventative maintenance scheduling, while leading a highly skilled team of maintenance mechanics to ensure our Gummi candy packaging lines continue to operate effectively and safely.
Responsibilities
Oversees preventative maintenance on installed equipment and machinery - including high-speed automated packaging lines
Supervises team of highly-skilled maintenance mechanics, across all three shifts, in a 24/6 plant
Partners with Maintenance Planner and Technical Buyers to ensure proper inventory of spare parts for equipment and maintenance
Ensure machinery and building repairs are completed in a thorough and timely manner, providing technical expertise in problem solving, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement
Act as a steward of HARIBO’s people-centric culture through positive employee relations, hiring, training, and communication for front-line hourly associates
Qualifications
High School Diploma, HSED/GED, or equivalent (Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred)
5+ years of maintenance, mechanic, of highly technical role within a food, consumer goods, or pharmaceutical manufacturing facility
2+ years of experience in a supervisory/people leadership role, leading maintenance mechanics or similar technical roles
3+ years of experience with automated packaging lines
Demonstrated understanding of PLCs, Automated Controls, Gear Boxes, Servers, and Automated Packaging equipment
Ability to work weekends as required
Preferred Qualifications
Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical field
7+ years of maintenance, mechanic, of highly technical role within a food, consumer goods, or pharmaceutical manufacturing facility
5+ years of experience in a supervisory/people leadership role, leading maintenance mechanics or similar technical roles
