We are seeking candidates in Nashville or Tampa to work a hybrid schedule in either office location. Remote candidates will not be considered.
Summary Of The Product Manager The Product Manager will work with the business and stakeholders on critical areas, functions, demands, and/ or trends within the industry and our clients. They will conduct research, comparisons, and make recommendations on what should make it into the future product roadmap. They will also devise solutions and adapt existing approaches to resolve issues.
Responsibilities For The Product Manager
Set strategy and plan for achieving distinctive competencies for their respective product areas
Lead overall GTM strategy for product area
Write epics for products
Work in the market with customers, leading sprint reviews and gather feedback
Manage the entire product life cycle from sunsetting legacy products to prototyping and testing new features/products and ideas
Identify market problems and definition to understand why we are winning and losing in the market
Keep a pulse on our competition and develop strategies and tactics to create improvement in our competitive position
Operates at the Team Leader level; coaching and assisting other team members
Represents the ‘forward thinking’ required for product(s) to achieve to be competitive and increase customer satisfaction
Participate and understand team velocity, resource planning, and allocations
Actively participant in Sales and Marketing endeavors, may run Focus Groups, Product Advisory Boards, Sprint Reviews
Act as internal consultant to internal teams to identify minimum requirements for compliance when regulations are vague and assist various departments by sharing information regarding product compliance
Use evaluation, judgment, and interpretation to select right course of action
Enhance relationships and networks with senior internal/external partners who are not familiar with the subject matter often requiring persuasion
Adapt style to differing audiences and often advises others on difficult matters
Qualifications Of The Product Manager
4 year degree required
Minimum of 5 years hands on experience in product management, leading product initiatives
Behavioral health is highly preferred; general healthcare is a must
Proficient in productivity applications such as Microsoft Office, and comfortable using collaboration and CRM tools such as Slack, JIRA, Aha and/or Salesforce.
Metrics-driven: Strong analytical and synthesis skills are a must, including the ability to absorb and process large amounts of data into actionable information.
Experience with best practice agile scrum development and lean startup principles
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Of The Product Manager
Tech savvy and passionate about building products
Track record of using qualitative and quantitative data to prioritize and drive decision-making
Curious and comfortable holding professional conversations with our target buyers and users
Must be a strong writer and public speaker in front of large, senior groups
