Floor Care Maintenance Technician working as a team to maintain hard floor surfaces, carpet, some VCT, hand mopping, and vacuuming. Familiar with running a walk behind floor machine is a must. Position is Monday through Friday, 5-9 p.m. Hourly wage $16.75 hr. Responsibilities
Maintain floor surfaces including hard floors, carpet, and VCT as assigned Perform hand mopping and vacuuming as required Operate walk-behind floor machines safely and effectively Follow maintenance task schedules for equipment (daily/weekly) Use proper PPE where required Hand mopping and light cleaning duties as assigned Follow chemical safety procedures Provide on-the-job training to familiarize with Tennant equipment for those who demonstrate a strong work ethic and willingness to learn Contribute to a positive work climate by being in uniform, dependable, on time, and supportive of the team Communicate in English and/or use a translation tool as needed Have reliable transportation Qualifications and Physical Demands
Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching overhead and forward Must be able to lift and/or carry 25 lbs Ability to read instructions in English Willing to wear a backpack vacuum Respect for equipment and daily/weekly maintenance Additional Information
Experience working for a professional janitorial company, office complex, hotel, hospital, or school is a plus. The ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment is necessary. Maintain a positive attitude, be in uniform, dependable, and on time. This franchise is independently owned and operated by a ServiceMaster Clean franchisee.
