About The Role We are looking for a Compliance Assurance Analyst to join our growing Consumer Compliance team. You will be an individual contributor focused on supporting key components of Current’s Compliance Management System (CMS), including testing, licensing, audits and examinations, and issue management. You will also have opportunities to assist on special projects as our business and regulatory landscape evolve.

Responsibilities

Execute compliance reviews, document procedures, test controls, and identify gaps for remediation.

Assist in completing audits and regulatory reviews, gather documentation requests, and support post-audit remediation.

Maintain state licenses, track filings and renewals, and annual reports.

Track and assist in driving resolution of compliance issues across the organization.

Pitch in on new initiatives and special projects that may be a departure from day-to-day responsibilities.

About You

You have at least two (2) years of relevant experience in compliance, audit, risk, or a related field.

You are fanatically detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.

You enjoy researching, analyzing processes, and identifying gaps or patterns.

You communicate clearly—both in writing and verbally—and can distill complex concepts into actionable insights.

You embrace change, adapt quickly, and are excited to learn about new regulations, technologies, and business models.

You thrive in a collaborative environment and want to contribute to building a strong and scalable Compliance program.

Bonus

Experience in fintech, banking, consulting, or internal audit.

Familiarity with consumer finance regulations and CMS components (e.g., testing, TPRM, licensing).

Strong analytical background or experience working with data.

This role has a base salary range of $75,000 - $95,000. Compensation is determined based on experience, skill level, and qualifications, which are assessed during the interview process. Current offers a competitive total rewards package which includes base salary, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
