We are seeking a highly skilled

Lead Business Operations Specialist

with strong communication and financial expertise.

You will join a fast-paced team focused on translating complex business requirements into actionable insights and AI-driven solutions for upstream processes.

Responsibilities

Review and update team members’ time entries, coordinate reminders, resolve discrepancies, make necessary adjustments, and oversee staffing modifications

Gather and track approval signatures for subcontractor personnel

Coordinate overtime approval requests, monitor overtime entries in the system, and follow up with managers as needed

Audit billing data, assign new roles, and validate billing roles and rates

Manage the approval workflow for billing roles and rates, including preparing P&L statements and securing required sign-offs

Lead the month‑end closing activities, perform final data reviews, and distribute timesheets to clients

Facilitate the BGC process by distributing materials, gathering required details, handling corrections, submitting requests, and arranging training sessions

Draft and issue offboarding documentation for employees leaving the organization

Administer staffing actions for programs and projects, such as onboarding, offboarding, record creation, and updates

Oversee travel‑related tasks, including collecting approvals, verifying requests in the system, making corrections, reviewing expense reports, processing mission visa applications, and submitting customer approval requests

Advise team members on travel, time management, overtime, BGC, roles, and operational procedures

Maintain CRM records, manage opportunity pipelines, and oversee contract workflows

Update forecasting documents and monitor client account balances and spending limits

Compile and present weekly status reports to customers

Requirements

At least 5 years of hands‑on experience in business operations or a similar discipline

Minimum one year of experience leading and supervising development teams

Advanced skills in Atlassian Confluence for organizing documentation and managing knowledge bases

Proficient in using Atlassian Jira for tracking workflows and managing tasks

Strong background in financial review, including data analysis and validation

High‑level expertise in Microsoft Excel for complex data analysis, reporting, and forecasting

Familiarity with Miro for collaborative visual planning and process design

Superior English communication abilities (C1+ or above) and proven experience in direct client communications and stakeholder engagement

Nice to have

Knowledge of Arabic to assist with multilingual team or client interactions
