WORLDPAC
Worldpac, a leading name in automotive parts distribution, is looking for a DC Associate to be a vital part of our warehouse and assist in pick, pack and stage parts, utilize hand‑held radio frequency devices (RF scanners), and move boxes throughout the distribution center. The DC Associate has overall responsibility for receiving and moving materials within the warehouse.
What You Will Contribute
Marks pallets with identifying store information.
Uses the computer/RF to enter records.
Uses equipment (pallet jack, forklift, etc.).
Uses voice picking system.
Keeps work area neat, clean and hazard free.
Uses a handheld radio frequency device (R.F. Unit).
Maintains consistent, reliable attendance.
Completes other related duties as assigned.
What You Should Have
Education: High School/secondary school diploma or GED or homeschool equivalency.
Must‑Have Skills
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Eligible to work in the country for which you are applying.
Ability to work on various shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals.
Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Nice‑to‑Have Skills (but Not Required)
Prior warehouse training or experience is preferred.
Physical/Work Environment Expectations
Stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with arms, talk and hear, frequently stop, kneel and crouch, occasionally sit, climb or balance, and regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and have vision abilities to adjust focus.
