The Sr Venue Manager role is a key component of the Food & Beverage division senior leadership and will be instrumental in driving the vision and culture of the division.

Summary of Responsibilities

Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.

Lead and manage day‑to‑day operations with oversight across all F&B venues including Fulton, Garrison, Rules & Regs Bar and Pool Bar ensuring all service standards are followed.

Drive innovative promotions, menus and concepts; creating a destination of choice for both hotel and external guests.

Work closely with senior F&B leaders and venue teams to curate dining experiences and maintain relevance within the marketplace and stay on top of industry trends.

Meet and continue building relationships with vendors to assist with procurement and beverage inventories.

Complete training sessions with all bartenders and service team on service standards and techniques.

Ensure all bars are well maintained and act as lead for bars in yearly health inspections and EHC audits.

Support the Venue Managers and Assistant Venue Managers with day‑to‑day operations and in achieving their financial and operational targets.

Implement effective control of food, beverage, labor and operating expenses.

Assist in the preparation of the annual strategic plan and achieve the goals and targets therein.

Ensure implementation of standards in guest service, constantly seek ways to improve product and service as well as increase volumes and profits.

Oversee selection, training and development of all colleagues to ensure timely recruitment and career growth.

Utilize venue management software (AVERO), inventory systems and POS technology to streamline operations and reporting.

Implement and promote sustainable practices, including waste reduction where possible.

Ensure all venue concepts and branding align with the overall company brand and aesthetic.

Oversee execution of seasonal or thematic events that align with marketing and brand identity.

Conduct regular spot checks and periodically revise par stock levels to ensure compliance with company processes and inventory management standards.

Follow department policies, procedures and service standards.

Actively resolve guest complaints promptly according to hotel standards.

Actively participate in hotel committees and team meetings.

Work closely with Marketing team to ensure venues have constant visibility.

Qualifications

Previous Food & Beverage experience in a senior leadership role required.

At least 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience in luxury hotel food & beverage operations in a union environment.

Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications.

University/College degree in a related discipline.

Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.

Highly responsible & reliable.

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.

Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.

Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.

Physical Aspects of Position

Seated computer work, including constant keyboarding and mousing.

Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
