Base pay range:
$135,000.00/yr - $155,000.00/yr
Job Title:
Survey Project Manager
Work Location:
Atlanta, GA
Salary:
Based on experience and will be discussed with manager in interview
Relocation assistance or sign-on bonus available
Duties/Responsibilities
Assist the Department Head in preparing proposals, estimates, presentations, employee evaluations, and the recruiting process.
SIT or LS required.
Proficiency in CAD, Least Squares Reduction and other Survey Software.
Experience with GIS platforms is desirable.
Experience with Robotic Total Stations, GPS (including post processing).
Experience with scanners, drones, and other emerging technologies is desirable.
Registered in Georgia or ability to become registered within a year as a Land Surveyor.
Demonstrated record of success on ALTA, route/database, boundaries, topographical, inventories, and other types of surveys.
Coordinate with office staff and clients as required.
Create and manage project budgets, schedules and resource allocation.
Must have project management experience.
Participate in pre-survey planning meetings with project managers, resident engineers, and contractor representatives.
Adhere to local, state, and federal survey regulations as well as Accura Engineering procedures.
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field from an accredited program; two-year degree plus experience also acceptable.
Must be a Professional Land Surveyor in Georgia, other state licenses are desirable.
GDOT experience required.
10+ years of experience managing survey projects of varying sizes and complexity.
8+ years of experience in land surveying.
Active SIT license.
Remote Pilot certification a plus.
Advanced knowledge and experience with AutoCAD and Carlson.
LiDAR collection and software experience (TopoDOT and Pix4D) a plus.
Experience with GDOT MicroStation/Open Roads Design (ORD) desirable.
Working knowledge of GDOT SUE process desirable.
Valid driver’s license and insurance status.
