Job Description
The ASAP2TEACH Program Administrative Associate V is responsible for maintaining office records, including faculty and student files, purchasing, budgeting, travel requests and vouchers, grant data, and faculty related information. The role also involves preparing workload reports, placing supply orders, assisting business partners, taking meeting minutes, and compiling reports required by university grant administration or external agencies.
Maintains records related to the activities of the grant.
Manages budgetary processes.
Schedules appointments and screens calls for the Project Director.
Handles correspondence and prepares reports.
Maintains office equipment and assists in acquiring supplies.
Maintains active files and assists in the processing of related program information.
Assists with correspondence and maintenance of hiring files.
Prepares travel requests and vouchers.
Prepares workload reports.
Verifies schedules.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or higher in a related field.
Five (5) years of related experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
Knowledge of accounting and budgeting for the department.
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
Excellent written communication, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a high‑stress environment.
Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
Ability to work independently on a given project.
