Purpose and Scope
The Coordinator II, School Partnerships facilitates daily operations within the assigned area. The Coordinator is responsible for coordination of support functions such as scheduling, communications, workflows, supplies, information processing and staff support. The Coordinator may be responsible for coordinating budget planning processes and for tracking and coordinating budget expenditures. The Coordinator makes and communicates process decisions based on best practices. Essential Job Functions
Coordinate daily operations of the assigned area. Maintain records. Maintain current knowledge base of the assigned area and act as a point of contact for internal and external customers. Schedule and prioritize work and activities and organize training materials for staff. Create and submit a variety of reports related to the assigned area and present findings. May make presentations to both internal and external customers. Coordinate various departmental and leadership calendars and schedules. Plan, schedule and coordinate various meetings/seminars/events, including site selection and preparation, marketing and training materials, and general support. Ensure and maintain compliance with local, state and federal compliance of processes and documentation within the area. Monitor and control resources such as office supplies and equipment needed within the department. Submit requisitions and review and approve/deny purchase requests in accordance with the budget. Assist with management of the departmental budget. Assist with creating methods of evaluation of the assigned area. Analyze results and make recommendations for revisions to objectives and strategies. Take part in and/or take lead on special projects as needed. Work closely with faculty, staff and administrators from areas supporting school partnership programs, generally involve (but are not limited to) Library, learning centers, labs, student activities, curriculum, and instruction, tutoring and training, advising and counseling, transcript evaluation, enrollment, orientations, recruitment and outreach. Attend off campus enrollment events at local high schools. Responsible for other reasonable related duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong attention to accuracy and detail. Excellent knowledge of general office and software applications. Ability to prepare and analyze reports. Possesses excellent organizational skills. Strong multi‑tasking abilities with the ability to prioritize duties. High level of customer service. Strong proficiency with Excel. Physical Abilities
The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee sits comfortably to do the work. There may be some walking, standing, bending, carrying of light items, such as papers, books or small parts or driving an automobile. No special physical demands are required to perform the work. Work Schedule and Conditions
Equipment used includes, PC workstation running on a LAN in a Microsoft Windows environment, calculator, phone and other general office equipment. Interface with internal and external contacts as needed to carry out the functions of the position. Work is performed in a climate‑controlled office with minimal exposure to safety hazards. May be required to travel to schools in the service area. Required Qualifications
Associate degree or higher and at least 3 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree. Salary
