to join our dynamic team.

A Pre-Owned Manager sources, evaluates, and purchases pre-owned vehicles for the dealership. Their daily tasks include market research to identify high-demand vehicles, negotiating prices with sellers, performing vehicle inspections, and coordinating logistics to ensure the right inventory for the company's needs. They work to build a pipeline of vehicles by buying from various sources, such as private sellers, trade-ins, and auctions.

Key responsibilities

Sourcing vehicles:

Actively identifies and engages with individuals and dealerships to acquire vehicles.

Market research:

Analyzes market trends and values to make informed purchasing decisions and optimize acquisition strategies.

Vehicle evaluation:

Conducts thorough inspections and evaluates a vehicle's condition, history, and market value to determine a fair price.

Negotiation:

Negotiates purchase prices and terms with sellers.

Logistics:

Coordinates the transportation and logistics of purchased vehicles to the dealership.

Inventory management:

Works with other departments to ensure the acquired vehicles match the dealership's inventory needs.

Customer interaction:

Interacts with customers who are looking to sell their vehicles, managing the process from initial contact through the final transaction.

Required skills

Ability to use technology, such as dealership management systems and market valuation tools.

Compensation includes an hourly base rate plus per vehicle incentives and performance bonus.
