We are hiring a Materials Planner & Scheduler to support a fast-paced manufacturing operation in Troy, Ohio. This onsite role is responsible for production scheduling, materials planning, inventory control, and ensuring on-time delivery. The ideal candidate has
5+ years of manufacturing scheduling experience , strong ERP skills, and thrives in a hands‑on, production‑driven environment. Candidates must live within a commutable distance to Troy, OH.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and schedule raw materials, WIP, and production to meet customer demand
Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules
Release and update work orders based on material availability and capacity
Monitor inventory levels, safety stock, and reorder points
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely material delivery
Track KPIs such as OTIF, schedule adherence, and inventory turns
Partner with production, procurement, logistics, quality, and finance teams
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience in materials planning, production scheduling, or supply chain within manufacturing
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills
