Inventory Control Supervisor: Unlock Insights, Optimize Logistics! Are you a data whiz with a passion for precision and a knack for problem-solving? CJ Logistics is looking for a bilingual Inventory Control Supervisor to drive exceptional inventory results in our Distribution Center(s)! In this pivotal role, you'll leverage business intelligence to ensure impeccable quantity and location accuracy, collaborating across departments and with our customers to resolve any inventory challenges.
Salary Range:
$79,000 - $90,500 per year
Schedule:
Mon - Fri 8:30 am – 5:30 pm

What You’ll Do Inventory Management & Accuracy
Supervise inventory control processes, including cycle counting, stock reconciliation, and discrepancy resolution.
Ensure alignment between physical inventory, warehouse management systems (WMS), and customer systems.
Manage control processes for non-conforming products and quality holds.
Oversee inbound and outbound product verifications to minimize discrepancies.
Support preparation for customer and regulatory audits.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Monitor and analyze inventory performance metrics to identify trends and root causes.
Develop and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly inventory accuracy reports.
Recommend corrective actions based on inventory analysis and follow up to ensure effectiveness.
Support customer reporting requirements with accurate, timely data.
Leadership & Team Development
Supervise, coach, and develop Inventory Control Analysts and Clerks.
Provide training, guidance, and feedback to ensure team compliance with policies and standards.
Conduct performance reviews and support career development plans.
Build a team culture focused on accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Customer Service to research and resolve OS&D (overages, shortages, and damages).
Work with warehouse operations to implement and maintain effective inventory controls.
Collaborate with Quality Assurance to support audits and product integrity requirements.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding inventory-related concerns and resolutions.
Continuous Improvement & Safety
Identify process improvements that enhance accuracy and reduce costs.
Participate in Lean or Six Sigma projects related to inventory optimization.
Promote and enforce safe work practices, ensuring team participation in site safety programs.
Perform other related job duties as assigned or required.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English (required)
Minimum 3 years of inventory control or logistics experience.
1+ years of supervisory or team lead experience.
Experience using WMS, SAP, or similar inventory systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) and data visualization tools.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with ability to interact with multiple stakeholders.
