Position Summary The Surveillance Supervisor reports directly to the Surveillance Manager.
Essential Functions
Protects assets and maintains integrity of the company using clandestine surveillance operations.
Supervises and trains Surveillance Agents according to standard operating procedures.
Observes and records any irregular activities as required.
Recommends policy changes to the Director of Surveillance.
Acts as a role model and always presents oneself as a credit to ThistleDown Racino and encourages others to do the same.
Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
Must have a broad knowledge of games and casino rules, procedures and administration.
Knowledge of the laws and regulations affecting the casino industry is required.
Must be familiar with camera equipment and methods of operation and recording as required.
Must know cheating methods and other related activities.
Must be able to identify cheating methods and other irregular activities.
Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
Must present a well-groomed appearance.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino.
Must be able to sit or stand for long hours observing numerous CCTV screens.
Must be able to work and maneuver in close quarters.
Must be able to see and also remember the specific details of incidents and persons.
Must be able to lift 20 pounds.
Must have the manual dexterity to operate the following equipment: monitors, switches, computers, controllers and cameras.
Must be able to give court testimony when necessary and write detailed reports.
Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, kneel, make rational decisions when handling guests' demands in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent vision (including peripheral) is needed to protect the games.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
Must be willing to work any day of the week and any shift.
Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
Must present a well-groomed appearance.

Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.
Education and Experience
High School diploma/GED required.
2 years previous experience required.

Required Certification/License
Must be able to obtain an Ohio Lottery Commission license.
