Job Description Summary As a Project Manager at SSJC, you will lead the successful execution of clinical and operational projects, including driving the integration of newly acquired companies. You will act as the bridge between the corporate M&A deal team, functional department heads, and the leadership of acquired organizations, ensuring cultural, strategic, and operational alignment while minimizing service disruptions.
Responsibilities
Lead "Day 1" readiness and end-to-end integration workstreams for acquisitions
Partner with deal leads during the due diligence phase to translate diligence findings into actionable integration playbooks and risk mitigation plans
Establish and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, managing interdependencies across HR, IT, Finance, and Legal
Utilize analytics to track key performance indicators (KPIs), synergy capture, and value-driver realization
Facilitate high‑stakes meetings with senior executives and acquired leadership to ensure transparent communication and milestone tracking
Conduct "post‑mortem" reviews of integration cycles to refine internal M&A playbooks for future growth
Gather, analyze, and report data for fiscal and statistical analysis
Perform additional duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities
Analytical Rigor: Proven ability to synthesize complex datasets (claims, utilization, or financial data) to inform project strategy and resource allocation.
Healthcare Acumen: Deep understanding of healthcare regulatory standards (HIPAA, CMS) and clinical operations.
Project Management Expertise: Mastery of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools like MS Project, Smartsheet, or JIRA.
Communication: Elite presentation and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to influence C‑suite executives and manage sensitive change management efforts.
Education and Experience
Experience using eClinicalWorks preferred
5+ years of professional experience, ideally with 2‑3 years spent as a Management Consultant (e.g., MBB, Big 4) or a Senior Data Analyst within a healthcare environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Administration, or a quantitative field (Statistics, Finance) required; MBA or PMP certification is highly preferred.
Must be willing to travel
