Fall 2026 Co‑op – Manufacturing Operations Are you ready to get hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced, highly automated manufacturing environment that produces 50 million k‑cups a week? Join our team as a Fall 2026 Co‑op – Manufacturing Operations in our Sumner, WA plant and take part in driving operational excellence across our production floor. This role offers a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to real‑world projects, and develop skills in process improvement, lean manufacturing, and supply chain coordination. Shift / Schedule
The KDP Fall 2026 Co‑op Program will run from July 13 – December 11, 2026 Location: Sumner, WA (Plant) Full‑time; 40 hours per week Monday‑Friday 8:00 am until 5:00 pm, flexible hours In‑person Responsibilities
Gain knowledge in executing operational plans and projects, including DMS (Daily Management Systems) for day‑to‑day operations, new equipment startups, and innovative product qualifications Assist with TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) implementation and Lean activities, including participation in Continuous Improvement or Kaizen events and developing, implementing and improving autonomous and preventive maintenance workstreams Support daily manufacturing operations to deliver targeted safety, quality, production, and cost results Be a contributor to problem solving, cost reduction, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives Balance work priorities to meet the day‑to‑day requirements of the plant business teams Data analysis, auditing, database management and standardization Assist with training creation and delivery Prepare standard reports/documentation to communicate results to all levels including senior management Co‑op Development
Participate in meet & greets and lunch & learns with KDP executives and other organization leaders Receive professional development training such as networking, professional skills development and presenting Be paired with a mentor to enhance your knowledge of other parts of the business and build your network Complete a project from start to finish and present it and your takeaways to your team, department vice president and other KDP stakeholders Total Rewards
$31 /hr Paid bi‑weekly Sign‑on Bonus:
$5,000 (paid within 30 days of employment) Requirements
Undergraduate currently enrolled in a full‑time academic program from an accredited college or university, majoring in Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Data Analysis or another Manufacturing related field. Strong computer skills (intermediate Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Clear communication and technical aptitude Basic project management skills Please note: This position is limited to persons with permanent right to work in the United States.
