TRL11 is a venture backed deep tech / defense tech startup bringing cutting‑edge video technology to Aerospace applications. Based in Irvine, CA, we are seeking a highly passionate person Program Manager who will be responsible for leading cross‑functional teams in the execution of aerospace programs and product development from start through delivery. This includes managing schedules, budgets, product development life cycle, and new product introduction for TRL11's space‑rated imaging and video products. The Program Manager will serve as the primary point of contact between the company and its customers, ensuring that all project objectives align with customer requirements and company goals. Responsibilities
Will define project goals, scopes and deliverables for the internal team
Will be responsible for managing product development of multiple products from start to finish, ensuring that hardware and software deliverables are appropriately defined, developed, integrated, tested, and delivered
Will lead design reviews (CDR, PDR's) both internally and with external stakeholders
Act as the primary point of contact for all communications with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
Manage budgets and personnel for multiple projects simultaneously
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience on hardware engineering projects or programs, preferably in aerospace setting
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business management or a related field. PMP Certification is preferred
Experience managing complex projects and bringing together multiple teams to execute on a product, including engineering, marketing, procurement, and manufacturing
Familiarity with qualification and integration of spacecraft systems is preferred
Familiarity with spacecraft concepts of operations is preferred
Prior experience leading or contributing to government programs is preferred
Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment, familiarity with lean engineering and agile methodologies
In depth understanding of business systems and processes such as enterprise resource management (ERP) and product lifecycle management (PLM)
