Family Practice Physician Assistant Locums Job in North Dakota | Full Time | Assignment #109575 Shift description Monday-Friday, 0700-1900 (3) 12 hour shifts per week

Details / Requirements

Board Certification: Board Certified, Board Eligible

State License: Required or IMLC (LOQ in hand) ND state license or active IMLC

Other Certifications: BLS, DEA

Malpractice: Clean Availability at time of name clear Perform physical exams within established protocol

Diagnose and treat patients according to protocol guidelines

Order appropriate diagnostic tests

Prescribe or recommend medications and treatments within protocol guidelines

Promote positive lifestyle habits through patient education and counseling

Perform minor procedures as necessary (within protocol guidelines)

Complete documentation within 24 hours

Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality

Make follow-up calls to check patient progress

Work closely with nurses to ensure efficient patient flow

Consult with colleagues as needed regarding patient symptoms for proper diagnosis and treatment planning

Perform other duties as assigned

Support Staff: Primary Care Providers, Triage nurse(s), 1 nurse per provider, CNA

Reason for Coverage: Provider Resignation

EMR: Allscripts AEHR

Credentialing information: Timeframe 30 days
