Position: Production Supervisor – 1st Shift (6 AM – 2:30 PM) – onsite at GEIS Headquarters, Syracuse, NY. Relocation not provided.

Expected annual salary range: $83,000 – $122,000.
What You’ll Do As a Production Supervisor, you will provide leadership and direction for a work group within the plant. You will track performance in safety, environment, quality, on‑time delivery, and cost, and serve as the first line contact between production employees and management, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
In This Role You Will
Conduct daily team stand‑up meetings with all department personnel.
Represent the company when interacting with production employees on the shop floor.
Help drive and implement safety policies, meet operating budgets, complete continuous improvement plans, and coach employees on behavior and performance.
Monitor control plans, troubleshoot workmanship problems, and supervise production activities to ensure products meet or exceed quality requirements.
Create the basis for continuous improvement and employee empowerment by ensuring standardized work processes are followed and countermeasures are implemented.
Ensure that assigned personnel have appropriate training, work instructions, and tools to perform their jobs effectively.
Utilize lean six sigma methodologies to reduce operational costs, inventory, and lead‑times, aligning with long‑term manufacturing strategies.
Develop and establish manufacturing priorities based on the production schedule and monitor employee work requirements to meet customer deadlines.
Basic (Required) Qualifications
Associate’s degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum of two (2) years of manufacturing, production, or operations experience.
Minimum of one (1) year of leadership experience.
No immigration sponsorship or relocation will be provided.
All candidates must be within 50 miles of Syracuse, NY (Active‑Duty Military Service members are exempt).
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in operations, engineering, or related field.
Two (2) years machining experience (CNC, manual machining, etc.).
Three (3) years of related experience with increasing responsibility, leading projects and teams.
Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office.
Experience in union environments.
Experience with continuous improvement projects.
