Position: Coed MS/JH Golf Head Coach
Reports to: Athletic Director & Varsity Golf Coach
Job Summary: The MS/JH Golf Coach teaches golf fundamentals, course etiquette, and Christ‑like character development.
Qualifications:
Golf coaching or playing experience preferred
Strong knowledge of golf basics, rules, and etiquette
Will to run successful summer camps
Great recruiter/retention skills for your program
Agreement with TPCS Athletic Purpose Statement, which reads: Traders Point Christian Schools is committed to developing and maintaining an athletic program that is Christ‑centered, comprehensive, and competitive, and allows each athlete a unique venue to be a witness for Christ by using his or her God‑given talent to move and play.
Ability to mentor new golfers
Must pass a background check
Must provide proof, or be willing to take CPR training
Responsibilities:
Teach golf fundamentals and course management
Promote Christian character and respect
Maintaining communication with administration, parents, and varsity staff is essential
Supervise athletes at all times, until the last one leaves any organized event that the team is a part of
Submit rosters, match results, and reports
Plan team banquet and awards
Follow inventory check‑in & check‑out policies with uniforms
Reports all game results to staff before 8 am the next day of the contest finish
Other duties as assigned
This position is:
A 1099 contractor
Part‑time, stipend
For the Spring Athletic season
