Join Sage Hospitality Group as Front Office Supervisor at the 354‑room C. Baldwin Hotel, a flagship property in the Curio Collection by Hilton. The role focuses on leading front‑desk operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, and maintaining efficient cash handling and reservation processes.
Responsibilities
Supervise front‑desk operations to maintain optimal service levels.
Train, coach, resolve issues, and direct the front‑desk team.
Handle customer complaints promptly to uphold guest satisfaction.
Complete check‑in procedures and process guest departures.
Calculate and post monetary transactions and guest accounts accurately.
Answer inquiries and accept reservations using suggestive selling techniques.
Maintain knowledge of hotel and regional functions for timely communication.
Operate PBX equipment and manage call schedules.
Control cash transactions and maintain bank responsibility according to policy.
Maintain a friendly, cheerful demeanor at all times.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications Education High school education or equivalent experience.
Experience Minimum of 1 full year in a related front‑desk or supervisory position.
Knowledge & Skills
Understanding of all hotel front‑office procedures.
High‑school level mathematical aptitude; experience with cash‑handling and computerized registers.
Experience dealing directly with the public and customer‑service knowledge.
Knowledge of company/hotel policies and ability to determine actions based on guidelines.
Supervision/management skills.
Strong communication skills, including possible second‑language proficiency.
Computer, calculator, and telephone operation for cash handling and paperwork.
Physical Demands
Frequent communication in person and on the phone.
Reading written communications and using computer screens.
Memory of reports and data analysis.
80–90% of shift standing; no climbing or driving; lifting up to 50 lb. luggage, 25 lb. bag.
Environment Prolonged standing in an indoor, climate‑controlled environment under fluorescent lighting, with 95% indoor work setting.
