We’re looking for a Business Development Representative to join the GTM organization. As a BDR, you will be the tip of the spear for growth at DNSFilter, generating a qualified pipeline for our Sales team through follow‑up on various leads and strategic prospecting into accounts. This role is integral to converting marketing campaigns into qualified pipeline and sales for DNSFilter.
This is a full‑time role for candidates available to work in our Tampa (Westchase), FL office. We recognize that people bring a wealth of experience beyond technical requirements, and we encourage people from all backgrounds to apply.
Responsibilities
Proactively reach out to potential prospects through phone, email, and LinkedIn to identify and qualify new business opportunities.
Process and qualify inbound leads promptly to generate new sales opportunities.
Collaborate closely and consistently with Sales reps, including but not limited to Account Executives and Partner Development Managers, fueling the revenue engine.
Utilize prospecting tools to connect with decision‑makers in SMB and mid‑market companies, orchestrating discovery calls.
Document Salesforce with precise insight, equipping our Sales Team with crucial intelligence.
Engage and nurture leads generated by our marketing team.
Travel up to 25% for in‑person conferences to generate qualified leads and opportunities.
Qualifications
Cold calling and outbound experience is required.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Strong organization and project management capabilities.
Fearless over the phone.
Experience working remotely.
0–2 years of experience as a BDR/SDR or similar role.
0–2 years of experience working in Salesforce (or similar CRM), Outreach.io (or similar), and sales/marketing tools such as phone dialers, 6sense, etc.
Understanding of working every lead with urgency (i.e., “lead to speed”).
A tech enthusiast passionate about leveraging technology.
Ability to travel to industry trade shows, events, and meet‑ups.
Bonus Points
SaaS BDR/SDR experience.
Cybersecurity and/or similar technical experience.
Experience with Challenger selling methodology and BANT qualification.

The hiring base pay depends on level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and geographic location.
