Job Summary:

The Dispatcher is responsible for monitoring and coordinating service operations. The Dispatcher collaborates and communicates with service technicians, service leaders, customers, account managers, and others involved in the service and fulfillment process to create and schedule service orders, compile and develop route assignments, and allocate parts to orders as needed. The Dispatcher performs all tasks in a manner that reflects the company's commitment to service, readily assisting both internal and external customers at every available opportunity.

Duties & Responsibilities

Receives and processes customer requests to initiate and schedule service.

Compiles and develops service route assignments for service technicians.

Confirms service orders have been completed, adjusts service orders as needed, and closes service orders.

Collaborates, communicates, and coordinates with service technicians, service leaders, customers, account managers, and others involved in the service and fulfillment process.

Ensures accountability, fulfillment commitment, and service excellence by maintaining consistent communication with both service technicians and customers.

Alerts all applicable parties to developing field situations and customer related call-ins and adjusts service technician routes accordingly to address emergency orders and changes to existing service schedules.

Maintains accurate records of customer interactions, service orders, purchase orders, and other pertinent information.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to work independently and with teams

Strong oral and written communication skills

Ability to manage multiple high level priorities simultaneously

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, and Slides)

Proficient in SAP

Education & Experience

Required: HS Diploma or GED Equivalent

Required: 1 year of work experience in customer service

Preferred: Associates Degree in Business or Science highly desirable

Preferred: 1 year of work experience in dispatch for an industrial service provider

Preferred: 3 years of work experience in customer service

Preferred: Working DOT knowledge

Preferred: Experience in the water treatment industry in logistics or services

Working Conditions

Working primarily in office environment

Compensation - The salary range is tied to the market for similarly benchmarked roles. The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity. Depending upon all the preceding considerations for the final selected individual candidate, the offer may be lower or higher than the stated range: 21-26.92 usd /hr
