Delivery Specialist – O'Reilly Auto Parts Maintain and operate store vehicles to deliver parts and/or products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner. Collect money on C.O.D. deliveries and pick up customer returns.

Essential Job Functions

Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products safely and efficiently.

Use fleet management hand‑held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update mileage, complete daily vehicle inspections, etc.

Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform daily inspections before operating.

Secure delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet cards, hand‑held devices, and collected monies at all times.

Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores) and fill out driver return slips.

Communicate any customer issues or special needs to store management.

Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to the store manager immediately.

Ensure fuel tank is filled and lock and secure vehicle at end of day.

Clock in/out according to company policy.

Perform additional duties as assigned, including customer service, sweeping, general stocking, merchandising, errands, core returns, stock order checks, etc.

Occasionally assist customers, act as a cashier, and/or help with merchandising tasks when business dictates.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills / Education / Knowledge / Experience / Abilities

Quickly match alphanumeric sequences.

Strong interpersonal communication skills.

Adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.

Driving record meets company standard (14/18‑point system).

Possess a legally required state driver’s license and meet company‑mandated driving eligibility requirements.

Desired Skills / Experience

Familiar with automotive parts.

Ability to operate other light store equipment.

Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
