Salary Range

$65,000.00 - $101,000.00

Overview The Coordinator 4 is responsible for managing a research study with the Department of Pediatrics. This randomized study is comparing the use of Semaglutide with placebo for the treatment of prediabetes and fatty liver disease in children. The position involves calling the patients weekly to review blood sugars and drug side effects, including adverse events. Each phone visit is then entered into RedCap. The position also involves compiling data into an Excel sheet for the PI's review. Scheduling patients for OGTTs, MRIs, and DEXAs via email is also a primary task involved with this position. Weekly staff meetings are always held remotely and writing up minutes and distributing to the study team is another responsibility.

Required Skills and Abilities

Spanish-speaking.

Excellent communication skills.

RedCap and Oncore skills.

Use of Excel for reporting.

IRB and regulatory experience.

Preferred Skills and Abilities Bachelor's degree and 2 years or more of study coordinator experience.

Principal Responsibilities

Assumes primary responsibility for a program, service, activity, operation or function in an assigned area. Develops objectives, practice and procedure and identifies resources to ensure accomplishment of operational goals.

Coordinates day-to-day operations in order to achieve designated goals. Ensures effective management and leads the development and implementation of best practices.

Designs and implements quality control metrics to identify areas of risk. Analyzes, recommends, and implements strategic solutions to minimize risk.

Develops a variety of complex report and other written materials.

Provides guidance to and collaboration with internal and external partners as necessary.

Develops, oversees and monitors budgets.

Develops and maintains specialized training.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree in related field and three years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
