SAP Project Implementation Manager
for an opportunity in Columbia, SC.
Work arrangement
Fully onsite in Columbia, SC. Candidates must be local.
W2 position; 12 months with the possibility of extension
Position summary
The SAP Project Implementation Manager
will lead a project aimed at retiring the organization s legacy system and implementing SAP Finance Management modules, which will be integrated into the SCEIS platform.
Required skills
Bachelor s degree in related field
PMP or other PMI project management related certification
5+ years of experience in SAP Project Management
5+ years of experience in SAP Implementation
5+ years of experience with Microsoft Project
Preferred skills
SAP Finance and Treasury Management Modules and Integration experience
Process mapping (MS Visio)
Azure DevOps (ADO)
Agile methodology
Responsibilities
Work with the SCEIS director, Enterprise Project Manager and SCEIS functional Team leads to develop and/or maintain project plans that will guide and assist the SCEIS team in their role supporting projects for related departments.
Work closely with the Finance and Treasury Team Leads and other staff to coordinate project timelines and plans to ensure coordination between SCEIS and other project resources.
Responsible for overall coordination, status reporting and stability of assigned projects.
Coordinate communication with all areas of the enterprise that impact the scope, budget, risk and resources of the work effort being managed.
Inform SCEIS Management Team of any potential risks and issues that may impact deadlines, milestones.
Inform SCEIS management team of system development and/or implementation issues that may have significant impact on resources, costs, etc.
At project conclusion, closes out each project in a timely and orderly manner, with documentation of lessons learned and archiving of essential project documentation.
Recommend project/portfolio management best practices for managing Treasury and FI Projects.
