Ops Resource Leader – TEB
Signature Aviation , a global leader in private aviation terminals, is seeking an Operations Resource Leader to oversee service delivery at our terminal. The role ensures a seamless and welcoming experience for guests, crew, and aircraft through proactive task planning, team deployment, and effective communication. The position demands schedule flexibility (nights, weekends, holidays) and the ability to work indoors/outdoors near active aircraft and ground equipment. Responsibilities
Coordinate operations safely and efficiently in accordance with established policies and SOPs, ensuring accurate communication through various methods. Schedule and assign operational tasks to frontline team members based on readings, arrival/departure schedules, or immediate guest needs (services include marshalling, towing, fueling, oil, lavatory, GPU, deicing, valeting, shuttle driving, potable water, and deliveries). Plan, delegate, and collaborate with all team members, guests, vendors, and aircraft crew to meet service needs and deliver an exceptional guest experience. Maintain accurate records of time worked and services performed, reconciling data between software and online systems. Learn and understand base operations and how all teams contribute to task execution. Proactively prepare for arriving/departing aircraft, identify and coordinate open and upcoming tasks, and promptly raise any observed safety concerns. Anticipate needs before formal requests (Ready, Greet, Connect), demonstrating a proactive mindset. Communicate with colleagues and guests to resolve problems, delegate requests, and improve task assignment processes. Comply with all operational, safety, and guest service requirements; stop work when unsafe conditions arise. Follow emergency response procedures during critical events and enforce security protocols as dictated by Signature Aviation and the airport. Qualifications
Minimum
High School Diploma or GED. Minimum age 18. Pass company and airport background checks, drug tests, meet insurance requirements, and be legally authorized to work. Preferred
One year of aviation ramp work, customer service, or related field. Required Knowledge & Skills
Strong multitasking agility and adaptability to schedule changes. Ability to remain calm in fast‑paced, high‑pressure environments. Collaborative teamwork across multifunctional groups. Professional conflict resolution and clear communication in English. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, radios, Teams, and other digital platforms. Understanding of UTC/local time conversions for flight schedules. Compensation
Pay range: $26.25 to $32.88 per hour, varying by skill, education, shift, and seniority. Benefits
