We have been working in children's fashion for 60 years, developing collections for premium and luxury brands: BOSS, Chloé, DKNY, Givenchy, HUGO, Karl Lagerfeld, Kenzo Kids, Lanvin, Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Timberland and Zadig&Voltaire… as well as our own brand Billieblush.

About the Role We are seeking an experienced and results‑driven
Business Development Manager
to lead and expand our wholesale business for a portfolio of
premium kidswear brands
across the
United States and Latin America .
This role is ideal for a commercially savvy professional with a strong network in
US retail and wholesale
(department stores, specialty chains, and sports retailers), who thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about driving brand visibility and growth.
You will be responsible for
developing new business opportunities ,
managing key accounts , and working cross‑functionally with internal teams to deliver on sales objectives and elevate brand positioning in the market.
Key Responsibilities
Drive sales strategy to expand our presence in the
USA and LATAM wholesale markets
Identify, pitch, and secure new wholesale accounts with major department stores, specialty retailers, and sports channels
Grow existing accounts by identifying upsell opportunities and aligning with seasonal product strategies
Account Management & Relationship Building
Serve as the main point of contact for key retail partners (buyers, planners, merchandisers)
Build and nurture long‑term relationships to ensure brand alignment, sell‑through success, and repeat business
Negotiate seasonal terms, pricing, and promotional plans to achieve revenue and margin targets
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Work closely with internal teams: merchandising, marketing, logistics, finance, and customer service
Communicate market feedback and customer insights to influence product development and go‑to‑market strategies
Ensure seamless execution of seasonal collections, marketing initiatives, and retail launches
Market Analysis & Reporting
Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and product performance to identify new opportunities
Track and report on account performance (sell‑in, sell‑through, profitability)
Prepare accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and business reviews for senior leadership
Requirements
5–10 years of experience
in sales, account management, or wholesale business development in the fashion or apparel industry
A
strong network
in the US retail landscape (department stores, chains, sports retailers)
Demonstrated success in managing and growing wholesale accounts across the US and/or Latin America
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
Strong analytical skills with solid command of
Excel
and understanding of
retail math
(margins, mark‑up, sell‑through, profitability)
Comfortable working both independently and cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced, international environment
Fluent in English;
Spanish preferred ,
French a plus
Based in NYC and willingness to travel regularly across the U.S and Latin America.
