Business Development Representative at LOOP Recruiting Job Summary:

The Business Development Representative is responsible for identifying and developing new accounts primarily through independent outreach efforts, supporting the growth of targeted client segments. This role focuses on building a strong pipeline of prospects, establishing new sales partnerships, and cultivating long-term client relationships to drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities

Drive sales activities in an effort to add new clients.

Engage with key personnel and decision makers to ensure we have access to opportunities in the marketplace.

Develop target lists, build brand awareness, and initiate and maintain relationships with clients through various forms of communication.

Conduct presentations to potential clients, persuasively educating them on the value of working with LOOP.

Leverage a variety of tools, including LinkedIn, Apollo, and Bullhorn, to manage the business development process.

Conduct site visits and consultations to cultivate strategic accounts and partnerships.

Negotiate contracts with clients.

Implement follow-through process with major accounts to ensure maximum results.

Work to understand challenges clients are facing and offer solutions to satisfy their needs.

Conduct market research to stay current on industry and market trends and tailor approach to remain competitive.

Travel to conferences as necessary to network with potential clients.

Be proficient in the full sales cycle.

Develop long-term relationships with key decision makers.

Seek feedback on the company’s services and find innovative ways to improve processes.

Organize, maintain, and update Bullhorn for tracking and reporting purposes.

Keep clients informed of progress regarding issues that may arise.

Ensure requests, needs, and questions are promptly addressed with the appropriate level decision makers.

Monitor service delivery and ensure excellence in service levels.

Schedule and conduct intake calls with each client and the assigned Loop Recruiting team member for all new job orders.

Education & Experience

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling pitches, proposals, and presentations.

Advanced negotiation skills to drive deal closures, strategic partnerships, and revenue growth.

Proven ability to develop and execute business development strategies that align with company goals and market opportunities.

Analytical acumen to assess market trends, forecast revenue, and make data-driven decisions.

High-level relationship management and networking skills with the ability to engage C-suite executives, key stakeholders, and industry leaders.

Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive and results-driven approach, able to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.

Strategic problem-solving and decision-making abilities to navigate complex sales cycles and drive long-term value creation.

Ability to mentor and develop a high-performing sales organization, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Expertise in ATS/CRM and sales enablement technologies with the ability to leverage data to optimize prospecting, pipeline management, and sales processes.

Comprehensive understanding of industry regulations, compliance standards, and competitive dynamics relevant to business development.

Strong collaboration and cross-functional leadership skills, working seamlessly with marketing, operations, and delivery teams to align growth initiatives.
