What You’ll Do As a Stock Worker and Receiver at Sodexo, you are an inventory expert and safety promoter. You will be responsible for receiving merchandise, unloading or unpacking it, marking it with codes for identification, stocking shelves, and helping customers place orders. You may work in a variety of locations including stores, warehouses, stockrooms, and other storage facilities.
Responsibilities
Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment.
Receive, organize and monitor all inventory.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of storage areas.
Utilize computerized accounts payable/purchasing system.
Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
Qualifications
Successful candidates will be team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and nurturers of a healthy/safe working environment for all.
No previous work experience required.
