THE ROLE We are looking for a proven sales professional with a growth mindset to help take AMD’s Consumer PC efforts and results to the next level. This leader will be responsible for driving AMD’s MNC (OEM) PC channels to scale efforts through Retailers, E‑tailers, Corporate Resellers, Value Added Resellers and Distributors throughout North America.

QUALIFICATIONS
Proven leader experienced in growing PC sales
Demonstrated success in growing the sales of both PC system units and revenue
Excellent relationship management skills
Strong decision‑making skills
Experience in successfully managing large marketing budgets and programs to improve the impact of every marketing dollar
Strong communicator, comfortable presenting to different audiences across customers and business/partner executives
Willing to travel as per business needs; flexibility to travel within the region (25%+)
Advanced presentation skills
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver on AMD volume, share, mix and revenue goals—achieve sales targets for allocated territory
Responsible for developing and implementing overall partner sales and marketing strategy
Implement and manage sales programs with key partners
Develop and execute marketing campaigns
Manage key relationships with organized retailers
Manage MNC partners, drive AMD consideration and ranging of AMD enabled platforms
Manage key distribution relationships, drive awareness and secure buy‑in
Timely updating of web‑based forecasting and funding tool
Manage outsourced resources
Ensure all points in the path to market chain are:
Aware of AMD programs
Understand AMD value prop
Educated on AMD road map and USPs
Understand our channel engagement strategies and activities
Gather and report weekly market intelligence
Ensure program partners are reporting via 3rd party system
Manage local engagement with external market analysis companies – IDC and NPD
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Proven sales experience in a similar role (e.g., product marketing), experience with dealing with MNCs looked upon favorably
Proven experience with large retailers and subsequent merchant organization preferred
Able to generate new sales from existing clients and win new business clients
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
Ability to identify market opportunities, develop sales plans and execute those plans to fruition
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint & Word
Excel – basic understanding of Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP required
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Electronic Engineering, Systems Engineering preferred
