Overview Amyx is seeking to hire a Program Manager to support our DLA Program Executive Office (PEO) Organizational Support Services (OSS) Contract. Partial Remote. Some Travel Required in the National Capital Area or to DLA locations may be required. Additional travel quarterly to DLA locations may be required.
Responsibilities
Provide technical and support services, to include but not limited to developing acquisition strategies, business case analyses, analyses of alternatives, capability development documents, change proposals, communication plans, site assessments, and milestone reviews to aid in DLA's business transformation.
Attend DLA Leadership meetings
Prepare DLA Leadership and Key Stakeholder Briefings
Research Acquisition Policy
Support BCAT I, II, and III Programs with BCAC, Software Acquisition Pathway, and detailed DoD Acquisition Policy Requirements
Use Extensive DoD Acquisition Policy Knowledge to improve Program Management efforts
Must have the ability to communicate accurate information
Qualifications Required:
Must hold a Project or Program Management certification.
Must have 5 years of experience in program management.
Must have 10 years of Leadership experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector in the IT and/or consulting fields.
Have experience with the Information Technology Acquisition process and its milestones, and have experience in analyzing a variety of source documentation and supporting the creation of acquisition documentation. Acquisition Documentation refers specifically to documents created in compliance with the guidelines and requirements outlined in the following Department of Defense Instructions (DODI) publications: DODI 5000.85 - Major Capability Acquisition; DODI 5000.75 - Business Systems Acquisition; DODI 5000.74 - Defense Acquisition of Services.
Must hold at least a Bachelor's degree.
Demonstrated thought leadership in Department of War (DoW) Acquisition lifecycle policies and procedures will help improve the probability that a vendor can immediately support DLA's Acquisition Transformation objectives.
Demonstrate experience incorporating emerging acquisition policies and processes into development, delivery, operation and sustainment of Defense Business Systems (DBSs) and related IT systems across the spectrum of operations for the DLA (e.g., Business Systems Category BCAT I).
Demonstrated experience analyzing and supporting the creation of Information Technology Acquisition documentation in compliance with the guidelines and requirements outlined in guidance (e.g., Department of Defense Instructions (DODI) publications: DODI 5000.85 - Major Capability Acquisition, DODI 5000.75 - Business Systems Acquisition, and DODI 5000.74 - Defense Acquisition of Services).
