Seeking Expert Apartment Community Manager
Apartment Community Manager – Essential Staffing Solutions is looking for a dependable, hard‑working, and self‑motivated manager to oversee residential properties and ensure tenant satisfaction.
Job Duties
Collect rent and other property fees from tenants and owners
Pay property expenses, including taxes, mortgages, payroll, insurance premiums and maintenance costs
Report the property's financial status, occupancy and expiring leases to property owners
Meet prospective tenants, show the property and assess their applications in accordance with anti‑discrimination laws
Advertise vacant properties and hire a leasing agent to find tenants as needed
Inspect properties and arrange for repairs and new materials as required
Arrange contracts for maintenance, trash removal, landscaping, security and other ongoing services and manage disputes with these service providers where appropriate
Investigate and resolve property complaints and rental violations
Job Qualifications
Proficiency in property management software (preferably Yardi and/or One Site)
A minimum of 2 years of apartment management experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Customer service focused with the ability to be a strong team player
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely and organized manner
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
Must be able to tour the community with clients, which includes walking the property and climbing stairs
Ability to diffuse conflict and solve problems
Knowledge of rental contracts and property and anti‑discrimination laws
