Job Overview The 2nd Shift Production Supervisor will perform the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line, including service shops and frontline manufacturing employees.

Responsibilities

Oversight and management of front‑line manufacturing employees, managing hourly employee populations.

Resolve problems through application of acquired expertise guided by precedent.

Work together with people from the business unit to specify activities and explain technical issues.

Communicate with direct team and supervisor.

Present to internal teams on metrics, project status, and research.

Ability to work in other operations to cover as needed.

Required Qualifications

Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role (manufacturing or similar industry preferred), OR a High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing or a leadership position.

Eligibility Requirements

Ability and willingness to work the Off‑Shift – 2nd Shift (3pm‑11pm).

Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future.

This position is 100% onsite in Schenectady, NY.

Desired Characteristics

Engineering or management degree.

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certified.

Manufacturing experience relevant to heavy duty equipment.

Experience running projects in a machine shop environment.

Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve complex problems.

Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

Established project management skills.

Relocation Assistance Provided: No

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $76,300.00 and $114,400.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
