The Space and Intelligence Division provides professional services to the US Space Force, Combatant Commands, Intelligence Community, and NASA. The Intelligence Programs Group (IPG), part of SPA's Space and Intelligence Division, is a specialized provider of systems engineering and trusted advisory services to the Space and National Intelligence community. We utilize mission‑proven, data‑driven advisory tools and capabilities. We provide highly technical support to ensure the government acquires cutting‑edge technology necessary for our National Defense. Our portfolio includes the National Geospatial‑Intelligence Agency (NGA), National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). SPA has a near‑term need for a Process Metrics & Improvements Support Professional (Mid‑Level).

Responsibilities The successful candidates will work as members of the Caledonia Program Process Improvements Support team and perform the activities required for developing and implementing customer approved process improvements for all identified functional area processes needing improvements. This methodology is designed to eliminate inefficiencies, improve quality, and reduce operational costs, enabling the government to deliver better products and services.

You will identify, analyze, and enhance existing business processes to optimize performance. Perform effective process improvement functions that gain efficiency by functionally aligning requirements as well as applying continuous process improvements over the life of the Caledonia contract. Develop and implement acquisition lifecycle process improvements as required by the Government. Perform process optimization and measurement strategy by leveraging continuous assessment methodologies. Implement refinements to acquisition and operations measurements by integrating candidate metrics that establish baseline process performance and efficiency targets.

Qualifications Required Qualifications

US Citizenship with TS/SCI + Poly clearance at date of application

Bachelors degree in related field

4+ years of demonstrated experience supporting enterprise architecture development activities such as the tasks above

NRO or IC mission experience

Ability to excel as a member of a collaborative team through open communication, transparency, and flexibility

Ability to relate professionally with senior Government customers and colleagues

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to report to designated work location in Chantilly, VA, up to full time, based on the needs of the customer

Desired Qualifications

BS or MS in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics

Six Sigma certification or Certifications related to functional responsibilities such as but not limited to Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)

Familiarity with JIRA/Confluence

Knowledge and understanding of Intelligence Community IT Enterprise (IC ITE) service offerings, architectures, and service adoption

Portfolio Management Training
