What to Expect
Tesla is seeking a high intensity action-oriented leader to join our Robotaxi Fleet Team. This position requires willingness to adapt and excel in a dynamic fast-paced environment. As a Robotaxi Fleet Support Lead, you will lead a team of Robotaxi Fleet Support Specialists to ensure that our fleet of vehicles are properly maintained and charged while meeting the daily deadlines.
This role may require the flexibility of traveling to domestic or international destinations as necessary.
What You’ll Do
Take ownership of vehicle fleet cleanliness, maintenance and state of charge, while conducting fleet processes in an efficient and effective manner
Lead coaching and training initiatives to equip team members with essential skills and knowledge for effective job performance
Cultivate a positive, high-performing team culture and proactively resolve performance challenges
Conduct regular audits to verify adherence and identify opportunities for enhancement
Review/approve timecards, expense reports, travel requests, and schedule shifts for Fleet Support Specialists
Be an expert with Tesla's proprietary software systems to access real-time data and analytics to identify and resolve issues to ensure seamless fleet operations
Proactively monitor and respond to all communication platforms, maintaining real-time connectivity to drive cross-functional collaboration
What You’ll Bring
Experience managing and motivating hourly teams
Ability to work a flexible schedule; on-call during off shifts for escalations
Fair leadership, ensuring balance between building good team culture and pushing team toward excellence to prioritize team success
Strong care for attention to detail and process optimization
Excellent computer skills, in particular a working knowledge and familiarity with MacOS, and Windows, as well as strong MS Office skills
Ability to navigate and thrive in ambiguous environments
Prior leadership experience in the Automotive industry is a plus
