The Used Car Buyer will have a primary responsibility of executing a process which involves prospecting, appraising, and presenting offers to current vehicle owners with the goal of purchasing their vehicles from multiple sources for resale. Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for calling, following up and scheduling appointments for customers to come in and appraise and purchase their used vehicles. Utilize CRM for prospecting and lead generation. Interface with current used vehicle owners from appointments set and dealership service drive with the purpose of purchasing their vehicle. Approach, greet, and engage with dealership customers to appraise and offer to purchase their current vehicles. Appraise used vehicles by asking questions, taking pictures of the vehicles, and inputting vehicle data into Sonic\'s automated inventory management system. Work with Sales Managers to build and propose an offer to seller. Introduces guest to sales department personnel to sell them a new vehicle after purchase of their existing vehicle. Review monthly goals with management on vehicles purchased to better utilize time and plans more effectively. Qualifications

Minimum 2+ years of experience

in automotive purchasing, acquisitions, and appraisals. Strong ability to engage with customers effectively, build rapport, and address their needs and concerns professionally. Excellent verbal communication skills with a persuasive and articulate demeanor over the phone. Ability to persistently pursue leads, maintaining a positive attitude throughout. Comfortable using CRM software and productivity tools to manage leads and track progress. Valid driver\'s license with a clean driving record. Must be authorized to work in the USA.
