Miller Pipeline is looking for HDD Operators experienced in safely drilling and pulling pipe to work in Akron, OH and its surrounding areas.

Main Responsibilities
Safely and effectively operate all directional drill equipment.
Identify potential problems; develop and implement solutions.
Enforce Company policies and standard work procedures.
Ensure compliance to safety rules and regulations for the safety of the crew and public.
Troubleshoot and repair minor equipment problems.
Interact with customers to explain the work procedures necessary at the worksite/residence.
Complete project paperwork as required by the customer.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in lieu of education will be considered.
Ability to travel throughout the area and respond to emergency situations.
Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
Class A CDL with tanker endorsements or ability to obtain one within 90 days.
Current DOT physical or ability to obtain one.
3+ years horizontal directional drilling experience.
Underground utility experience.
Must pass computer-based testing, specific to the local Customer’s operator qualifications.
