The Immigration Project Assistant will support the Immigration team in managing various projects and tasks related to immigration cases. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, tech fluency, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in coordinating and managing immigration projects, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within scope.
Support the preparation and filing of immigration applications and petitions, gathering and organizing necessary documentation.
Remain current of alerts and information regarding changes to immigration laws and procedures and raise issues to attorneys and paralegals where such changes impact immigration templates.
Maintain and update project databases and case management systems, ensuring all information is accurate and accessible.
Communicate with clients to collect information, provide updates on project status, and address any questions or concerns.
Assist in drafting correspondence, reports, and summaries related to immigration cases, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
Schedule and coordinate meetings and interviews, preparing agendas and materials.
Monitor project timelines and deadlines, ensuring timely completion of tasks and alerting team members to upcoming deadlines.
Collaborate with team members to improve processes, enhance efficiency, and implement best practices in project management.
All other duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and two years of project management experience in a related field, or the combined equivalent of education and experience.
Experience in immigration services is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
Demonstrates strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Exhibits excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Works effectively both independently and within a team environment.
Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
