Awake Overnight Residential Counselor
Join Vinfen as an Awake Overnight Residential Counselor. In this role you will provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a small group residential setting or an individual living arrangement. You will work closely with the people we serve, their families, friends, employers, and other support staff to transform their lives by building independence skills or increasing quality of life.
Responsibilities
Administrate medication under the Medication Administration Plan (MAP) and implement treatment plans.
Assist people with activities of daily living and nightly cleaning and filing.
Support and collaborate with families, friends, employers, and other support staff.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in a Human Services related field preferred.
Experience working with people with developmental disabilities and/or acquired brain injury strongly preferred.
Strong time management and writing skills.
At least 21 years of age with a valid U.S. driver’s license for the past 6 months.
Ability to become CPR, First Aid certified within 2 weeks of employment and MAP certified within 150 days of employment.
Pass CORI, reference, national fingerprinting, and driving record checks.
